Acknowledging the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) as well as the growing need for Behavioral and Mental Health Professionals, the Scholarship for a Smarter Saner World — S3W– was created to assist graduates from Winterset, Iowa and Madison County seeking a career in:
1) the STEM fields including Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and
2) the Mental Health field including Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy and Psychiatric Nursing.
We firmly advocate that both science with practice and sound mental health are essential to the betterment of our country and our world.
